CREATIVE ART EXPRESSIONS

Creative Art Expressions is about communicating and understanding your unique and authentic self.  Art is a form of communication.  There is no right or wrong.  There is only expression.  You do NOT have to be an artist to create an art expression.  All you need is an open mind and the willingness to participate in the process. Creative Art Expressions is not about the quality of the piece you create.  It is about the insight you gain about your unique self during this creative journey.

Workshops are held on Saturdays from 1PM to 4PM. Groups are forming, please call to obtain available openings and workshop locations. 

CLOSURE COLLAGE

Letting go by re-creating.

Addressing the issues that have caused negative self-image is never easy. Closure Collage is an opportunity to re-define negative issues and to create a new image and a new perspective.

Each member of the workshop will create a collage that re-defines their issue by using word, pictures, and symbols to obtain closure through transforming negatives into positive self-images.

WORKSHOP Cost is $50.00

Materials will be provided. 

Feel free to bring your own special items (i.e. copies of photos, pictures, magazines), to add as well.

ACCEPTANCE MASKS

Understanding your unique self.

Get in touch with who you are, both inside and out. 

This workshop is about defining your outward, public persona, as well as your inward, private persona through creative mask making. 

Each member of the workshop will create a mask incorporating and defining their unique self.

BOWL OF LIGHT

Defining your inner light and what is blocking you.

This workshop utilizes the ancient Hawaiian legend “Bowl of Light”.  

The essence of this legend is to remind us of our true selves; our inner light, and to challenge us to address the issues in life that block our light. 

Each member of the class will receive a handmade bowl that they will use to design their inner light by using words, pictures, and symbols.
